Pricing
Gumlet pricing
Each plan fee includes a set amount of streaming, and every gigabyte your viewers use beyond it is billed separately. Storage is counted in minutes of video, and DRM is billed on its own.
What drives your bill
Gumlet charges a plan fee, and each paid plan includes 3,000 GB of streaming a month with storage counted in minutes of video. Past the allowance every gigabyte is billed at the plan's overage rate, and that rate is lower on the higher plans. DRM is a separate monthly add-on, whichever plan you are on.
For a VSL on cold paid traffic, weigh the pricing model against what you get back. Gumlet is the pick if you want a hosted player with in-video CTAs, ad pixels and optional DRM at a bundled bandwidth price, and you do not need the host to tie a play to the sale.
What one sales video costs on Gumlet
These rows use annual list rates and the 3.33 Mbps stream this site assumes. The first row is a 20-minute video seen by 5,000 visitors who watch a quarter of it. The other three price one heavier month on each paid plan: a 45-minute video seen by 30,000 visitors who watch a fifth of it. That delivers about 6,700 GB, or 3,700 GB more than the plan includes.
| Delivered | Delivery | Storage | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Creator, one modest VSL: 20 minutes, 5,000 visitors, a quarter watched | |||
| 625 GB | Included | Included | $6 |
| Creator, heavy traffic: 45 minutes, 30,000 visitors, a fifth watched | |||
| 6,700 GB | $555 | Included | $561 |
| Growth, heavy traffic: The same heavy month on Growth | |||
| 6,700 GB | $370 | Included | $389 |
| Business, heavy traffic: The same heavy month on Business | |||
| 6,700 GB | $222 | Included | $321 |
If a month like the heavy one is normal for you, Business is the cheapest of the three because its overage rate is lowest. Bunny Stream delivers the same 6,700 GB for about $67 in Europe and North America, so a seller at that volume should weigh whether the dashboard tools are worth the difference. Add the DRM fee to any row if you switch it on.
What works
- Every paid plan bundles 3,000 GB of streaming a month, so Creator covers one 20-minute sales video seen by 5,000 visitors who watch a quarter of it, with most of the allowance left over.
- In-player CTA buttons with your own link and timing, in-video lead forms, and Google and Meta pixel tracking from Creator up, all set in the dashboard with no API work.
- Widevine and FairPlay DRM can be added to any plan, with 100,000 views included, and password, geo and domain locks come with the plans themselves.
- A Reddit user leaving Vimeo over bandwidth charges said Gumlet's migration tool kept their embed codes working, so they did not have to edit every page that plays a video.
- The free plan gives 100 GB of streaming and 60 storage minutes, enough to embed a test video on your own sales page before paying anything.
What to watch
- Gumlet's pages advertise no VSL conversion layer: no sound-first autoplay or unmute restart, no split tests decided on sales, no cart-verified postbacks. Pixels and CTAs still work on the page, but the ad platform is never told which play earned an order.
- The allowance is 3,000 GB on Creator, Growth and Business alike. A long VSL on heavy traffic goes past it, and the overage then costs several times what Bunny Stream charges for the same delivery, even at Business's lower rate of $0.06 a GB.
- Two separate reports describe every embed failing at once, one after a backend change on migrated videos and one where embeds showed a dashboard-only message. On a sales page, that leaves paid visitors looking at a blank player.
- DRM is a separate monthly line on top of the plan, and dynamic watermarking comes only with Business.

She looks at how a video player behaves on cold paid traffic: autoplay and unmute behaviour, per-second retention, timed CTAs, lead gates and load speed. She also maps what each host really costs, whether it bills per play, per gigabyte or per seat, and rebuilds the monthly bill for a typical VSL funnel. For each piece she reads long-term user reports across forums and review sites, works through the vendor's own docs and pricing, and confirms the numbers before a verdict goes live.
